INTRODUCTION

hi, my name is nate and i'm a 28 y.o. trans guy from europe! i like drawing, vidya gaems, and rotating fictional men in my head. when i'm not wasting my time on either of that, i work as a postman full time so i often tend to be physically tired and sometimes mentally as well. but u know what. i do love my job, just as much as i love to bitch about it. i can be a very direct person at times as i just see very little point in beating around the bush. similarly, i'm sorry if some of these rules sound harsh but it's about time i established proper boundaries in regards of curating my dash experience. i value communication so please don't make me read between the lines. </3 my love language is sharing memes/muse inspo and drawing things for others. i can be awkward at times, but i'm generally pretty friendly and as someone who tends to match the other person's vibe and energy, if you come screaming at me in full caps, i will be screaming right back.

DEALBREAKER

let's get this out of the way, shall we? if you feel like this is something you cannot comply with, it might be best to not bother following at all; as i most likely will softblock you eventually. anyway— it is a general rule of thumb that people within the rpc follow one another with the full intention to interact, be it sooner or later. that much holds true and i know it can take a while to think of a way to make our muses interact through writing, or later down the line we simply get busy and may take a while to actually respond to threads and asks. that all is fine and well! but, assumed you're online, and you literally never interact with me via liking or commenting on my posts, sending me memes or answering what i send you, or actually talking to me ooc, then i do not see the point in us being mutuals. i think it's important we show each other a little love on the dash every so often, even if we're not constantly actively writing together! it makes the hobby less lonely; if i wanted to write on my own, i'd be writing fanfiction. basically, don't be a ghost mutual and make me feel like just a number. for this reason, i prefer to keep my circle small and made out of people who genuinely show interest in me and my muse. at the end of the day, i'm here to make friends while bonding over this hobby, tbfh. regardless, i am okay with being refollowed at any time if you feel like i've misjudged. i hold no hard feelings. if i do, i hardblock.

CONTENT

an independent blog featuring ivan from vivinos' alien stage. as a series, it deals with some heavy topics, such as: human exploitation, human trafficking & slavery, emotional & physical abuse, psychological & medical trauma, sexual assault, violence, alcohol & drug use, and understanding one's humanity. follow at your own discretion, as i do so love to explore and analyze these topics in regards to ivan and his lack of self worth and identity this sort of world had caused him. i am heavily canon-compliant with the only divergence being that i let ivan live for, you know. rp reasons. it is not neccessary to be familiar with the source material to rp with me.

i am oc and crossover friendly. i don't follow blogs that have no about/rules page, a tag system, or are run by minors. i generally follow back within a day or two; rarely immediate if you've followed me while i'm at work. i will only roleplay with mutuals, but anyone can send in ooc or headcanon asks, as well as anonymous asks so long as it's not hate. this blog's topics are not suitable for minors and i will hardblock you if i see you're underage. i allow personal blogs to follow me, as long as you can follow the rp etiquette: which generally boils down to never reblogging any of my posts. first offense gets you hardblocked. if you have an rp blog attached to your personal, have it listed somewhere in your bio or pinned post (preferrably dm me a specific one you want me to check out if you have multiple). i am currently on the fence about duplicates. i'm unlikely to follow first, but i might follow back. no promises. if you're a multimuse featuring a duplicate of my muse, i'll simply ignore and not interact with them unless/until i'm comfortable. if i see you blatantly copying my headcanons, i will hardblock you.

ACTIVITY

about medium. i tend to hyperfixate on my muses, so this is currently my only active blog. i have another, on a hiatus right now. i lurk around tumblr practically all day everyday, so you're gonna see me around. i like to air out my random thoughts about my muses, post aesthetics, or just about anything that comes to mind. i like to be social on tumblr in between my writings, that simply comes and goes depending on my motivation and energy levels. something that i imagine is the same for everyone, really. or almost everyone.

INTERACTIONS

with no prior plotting, my default verse for most interactions will be my modern verse, given the very niche setting of ivan's canon verse. i try to send in memes to my mutuals when i can. i also post inbox calls every now and then. best way to interact with me is probably through memes, unprompted asks, short starters, or plotted starters. for plotting, please please please do put in some effort. utilize the 'yes and' method, because if all you offer me is 'i like that, that sounds good,' etc. then i won't really keep replying. i refuse to be the one carrying the conversation all the time. do note that i no longer answer asks in new posts nor do i move answered asks to a new post in order to continue them; i'm lazy, and with xkit's new addition to trim ask posts, i don't really see the reason to do this anymore. plus i like that it gets to stay in one big thread that way. however, if this bothers you, i.e. it's mentioned in your rules, i'll still make the new post for you if we choose to continue an ask as a thread. it's just not something i personally default to anymore.

SHIPPING

this blog is and will forever remain multiship, and is open only to male and masculine-presenting muses (canon or oc) due to ivan being a homosexual man, but all i can really tell you is: good luck. expect slow burn. for as much as i love to ship, ivan sees no value in his own existence and struggles to understand the concept of 'love' as a whole. he's also obsessed with his childhood friend, till, that i can't quite imagine erasing from his character despite different verses where i might not have them end up being romantic. ivan can be freaky, push boundaries, miscommunicate at every opportunity, and get overly clingy fast and then self-sabotage just as quickly. i'm looking for deep and meaningful relationships, romantic or platonic, and prefer to talk regularly to my shipping partners, plot, banter, and share posts that remind us of our muses, otherwise the enjoyment of the ship just sort of remains shallow to me. do note that ivan is (by default) a celebrity with a large fanbase and social media presence, so your muse having some semblance of knowledge about him is perfectly acceptable for the sake of pre-established relationships.

i love intertwining our muses' lives. it is like my guilty pleasure of rp. i love the notion of mentioning each other in headcanon posts or even in interactions with other people. as such, i'm more than welcome to the prospect of mains & affiliates, however, remain on the fence about exclusives, as i haven't exactly been a part of the canon rp scene in a long while, but you're welcome to approach me about it. i am the most likely to practise shipping exclusivity. my main requirement to be affiliated in any way, however, is to talk and/or write at least semi-regularly.

something that feels neccessary to mention now with the rise of people picking up alien stage muses: i do not wish to gatekeep, as despite everything it still remains a pretty niche fandom in my opinion on top of there only being a handful of notable characters, so i am more than open and welcoming of new interactions with the canon character cast despite already having a handful of established dynamics with other muns. please never feel anxious about offering me your alnst muses for interactions.

as mentioned before, i'll be exploring a lot of dark as well as sexual topics on this blog. some topics that are specific to ivan's character and you should probably be aware of include: obsessive behavior, stalking, toxic relationships, self-harm/self-neglect, cannibalism, and frequent bug imagery on top of the previously mentioned topics of alien stage as a series. i do not shy from problematic topics, but i am not here to glorify and sexualize them. please tag ooc mentions of fathers (especially father's day) for me, and maybe try to avoid talking about that topic with me completely, thank you. i do not mind fatherly relationships being brought up in plotting or the rp itself, however.

BIOGRAPHY

ivan was born in an illegal pet human factory and grew up in the slums of the alien world, and experienced near death at a very young age. this has left him quite brave in the face of whatever consequences his actions might bring him. ivan welcomes death; he doesn't count on living a long, fulfilled life. given the conditions he's grown up in, his growth was initially stunted, yet he's always been physically stronger than what first impression he might give off. despite his pessimistic views, he is a determined, hard-working individual that gives it his all... as long as he's interested.while his birthday remains a mystery, ivan was adopted on the 14th of february in a pet human auction by a segyein (alien) called unsha, someone who was seemingly involved in the local underground's dealings, and was meant as a birthday gift for his wife. yet despite being meant as a gift from love, ivan grew up in a household devoid of as much; neglected by his owner in the emotional department, yet provided food and shelter... ivan chose to obey; he's longed for food and safety for so long, that selfishly, he didn't want to give up the opportunity. but as it were, he was no longer interested in what life had to offer at all, even though ivan had always been there, watching. being so close to a mafia don had allowed the boy to learn many a secret others could only ever dream of. perhaps you knew too much.with the growing popularity of the pet human business, unsha chose to give in to his curiosity and go toe-to-toe with his rival, urak; enrolling ivan in the anakt group, a pet human caretaking facility that nurtures their talents and raises them into competent singers to later participate in the deadly game of alien stage. this led to further establish a more business-like relationship between the two, rather than a familial one; ivan feels no strong emotions towards his owner. he was the graduate of the 50th class of anakt garden; an earth-resembling facility to provide the best enviroment for pet humans to thrive, and, with unsha's influence, garnered many sponsorships to further his modelling career and raise his popularity to eventually reach the semi-finals.ivan excelled at all of his studies, being chosen as his class' honor student. it was during his time at anakt garden that he'd met his friends: mizi, sua, and most importantly, till. ivan had been rather distant, sometimes almost mean towards mizi and sua in that older brother way, while developing an unhealthy attachment to till. upon meeting till, everything else went out of the window— his goals to do well in school, his future plans as a singer and model —as he'd been the only one who had ever managed to bring out the most raw of ivan's emotions, enough that he'd even found a way to escape the anakt garden with till, only for him to refuse in the end and go back. and ivan, infatuated as he were, went back with him, forfeiting his chance at freedom. heaven was wherever you were.upon his graduation and subsequent participation in alien stage, ivan sang the song black sorrow in round 3, winning with a ground-breaking 90 points. his next competitor, however, was till. they sang the song cure in round 6, during which ivan had eventually sacrificed himself after noticing till's reluctance to sing and perform well, to ensure the other's victory. despite not counting on living a fulfilling life... now that his goals had shifted into ensuring till's safety and wishing to occupy the biggest space in his mind, he can say that he died happy. you won't remember me anyway; you'll move on. it's okay. you'll be happy again.

MANNERISMS

on the outside, ivan acts polite and very mature for his age. he's a soft-spoken individual; that weird quiet kid in the corner. he generally doesn't go out of his way to initiate interactions, but he's more than happy to help out should someone approach him, even if that doesn't happen very often as most of his peers think he's just too perfect. yet many may still notice his generally off-putting, cold way of speaking. if you mean nothing to ivan, he will treat you as nothing, yet he'll do it with a smile on his face, leaving you guessing. he's generally looked up to for his good looks, demeanor, school results, and singing and modelling successes. from the many investors wanting to have ivan's face on their brand to the many others that have asked him out or wanted to be his friend, ivan would often humor them for as long as it benefitted him or if he was bored enough; he never believed people would want to keep him for long before abandoning him again.with those he's close to, he's a lot more bubbly and outspoken. he can come off as childish, quirky, and embarrassing. ivan lacks a lot of filter and says what's on his mind with an unsettling directness. he can be clingy and overly affectionate, and struggles with the concept of 'no.' his way of loving is dark and twisted, he struggles with understanding his own emotions and expressing them in a healthy manner. once he loves you, you'll be all that's on his mind. and he'll want to make sure he is all that's on yours.it's difficult to say which is the true him. not even ivan himself knows.

the popular live singing performance show called alien stage pits different pet humans against one another to compete in a song duel. every child that successfully graduates from anakt garden is put to compete in alien stage: this is where they either live to see glory or die within the snap of fingers. a lot of these pet humans do a variety of acting or modelling gigs on the side as well, while being prepared for the performance of their lives by their segyein owners. at the end of each performance a score is displayed; and the loser gets shot in the neck immediatelly after. the rules are simple: keep singing, do not act out of character, do not assault your opponent, and put on a good show.HUMAN REBELLION

there was no way unsha would stand for losing the pet he'd put so much money in; if he wasn't getting his worth out of ivan through winning alien stage, he'd just put him back into modelling. or so was the segyein's thought process, after he'd pulled some strings behind the scenes to ensure the best medical attention for ivan after the events of round 6. what the mafian didn't expect, however, was the interference of the human rebellion forces, that successfully pulled ivan out of unsha's grasp. for now, he is in hiding while his wounds finish up healing, but he's more than eager to be put into use than to sit idle— it doesn't matter who holds the leash over him. and while this is better than living as a segyein's pet, he struggles to acclimatize to a world of freedom; a world of anarchy.AFTERLIFE

ah. well, ivan expected to die; he was at peace with that. what he didn't expect was to keep his conscience just... in an out-of-body experience. incorporeal and permanently made to wear the white suit he wore during round 6, ivan is cursed (or at least he considers it a curse) to carry on, witnessing all that followed after his death. he wonders if he'll ever find peace; but, on the other hand, after watching the alnst finals and what burden he'd placed upon till, he supposes that eternal torment is exactly what a pitiful existence like his own deserves.* OFF THE RECORD

based on the actor au by vivinos, it follows a similar premise to ivan's canon verse, with the exception of it being set in the modern world rather than an alien one, and all the murders are simply staged as part of a tv show. he is not a pet human but an actual person (yet he still struggles with his emotions and humanity) and unsha is both his adoptive father and his manager, while still working as a mafia don undercover. this is something ivan is aware of, yet he simply turns a blind eye to it for the sake of himself and everyone else, really. also note that i'm keeping unsha an alien creature, therefore ivan is used to seeing inhuman beings and isn't afraid of nor otherwise fazed by them. he was effectivelly raised by him in a not-so-conventional way; homeschooled and barely socialized, put into the acting and modelling fields from a very young age, while ocassionally exposed to some illegal and other questionable dealings.VERSES I'D LIKE TO DEVELOP

till is the object of ivan's obsessions; a person he struggles to understand yet is fascinated by and cares for deeply, and from ivan's perspective, believing that till doesn't even consider them friends and that it wouldn't matter if he died. they're actually close childhood friends that would often bicker and hang out together, but the romantic part is mostly one-sided from ivan as till never had the time to properly figure out his feelings.

despite sua's reluctance to be close with ivan, he considers her someone special in a sibling-like manner. she's one of the few people to see through his mask, and he thinks she's just as twisted as he is and has blamed her for the burden she's put on mizi, despite doing the same to till not long after.

ivan is fascinated by mizi's purity and innocence, however, also considers it a double-edged sword and at times exhausting. regardless, the two share their ways of displaying love through physical touch and can be quite casual with one another. they have labelled each other their best friend.

ivan doesn't know much about luka, given that they never had a face-off during ALNST nor did they share their class in anakt garden. however, given his cold demeanor and the fact that he led to till's downfall, it is safe to assume he wouldn't like him. however, he looks up to him regarding professional and business matters. ivan believes luka truly is the perfect pet to aspire to be within their society.

ivan and hyuna have never canonically met, though they'd been confirmed to have something of an older sister/younger brother relationship if they had.
